Life In A Suitcase

Yup.  I'm convinced my life is packed up in a suitcase.  Don't worry you aren't the only one that thinks it's mildly ridiculous.  I do as well.  There are very few times that I stay unpacked and I'm not even kidding.  

I made my arrival in Tyler about 6:30-7.  I stopped in Denton to eat a late lunch/early supper with Matthew at El Guapos!! I absolutely love me some El Guapos.  Besides the point- I got to Tyler and immediately started unpacking so that I could pack again. UGH. 

Lailee summed it all up in one picture how we both felt about traveling today.

Not good.  

I also cleaned out my closet tonight and it didn't go THAAAT well but I did get rid of 2 trash bags.  :)

If Trevor had it his way, he'd clean it out for me and leave me with maybe 3 pairs of jeans and a few shirts.  He's always saying that I have too many clothes.  But hey, you'll never know when you're going to need something.  ((that's why I suck at cleaning my closet out))

Well I made it home, but tomorrow it's off again...to Shreveport.  

Oh and just so everyone knows, my dog is beginning to get spoiled by everyone and not just me.  My grandma called me this morning to see how things were going and she heard Lailee whining, which is unusual because she loves the car and usually just goes right to sleep.  When my grandma heard her, she was like, "Put the phone down by Lailee and let me talk to her." Haha. Made my day.  My grandma never even used to like to pet her.  Now she holds her when she comes over and talks to her on the phone.  Awesome.

Today

So today Madison had surgery.  She got her tonsils taken out.  Everything went really well.  She went into surgery at 7 this morning, was done by 7:30, and was released by 10:30.  They weren't expecting her to be released until 12.  My mom was hesitant about getting this whole procedure done, simply for the fact to what happened when I got my tonsils taken out...not good. :| So good for Madison doing good so far.  She even made a comment to my mom about how she wasn't a wimp like Mekenna, her dad, and I.  Rude if you ask me. Haha just kiidding. But really. :|  Lets hope and pray that everything stays well.

She chose to bring her tonsils home.  I found it quite disgusting to look at so I didn't examine them that hard.  I never brought mine home partly because I found it gross and partly because I thought they were joking when they asked. 

As of right now, I'm packing up.  It's back to Tyler tomorrow!!

Santa Claus Came To Town

Luckily Santa found our house! Whew, that was a close one... I wasn't so worried about me being on the Naughty List but more so my sisters.  haha j/k. I played Santa Christmas Eve night, but I couldn't make it anymore.  It was 3 A.M. and we had to get up at 7 A.M. because church was at 10 and my mom said we had to open presents before so that everyone could have something to wear to church.

I wasn't much help anyway- too many screws, tools, parts, instructions...everything! I sure hope that when I have kids that Santa drops their presents off 'put together' so that I won't have to. :)

Santa was pretty good to all of us this year- so a big shout out to him!

I got some pretty kickin' luggage that is leopard print.

I love it. Now I'll be traveling in style.

My sisters also got Just Dance 2 for the Wii.  I can not dance to it because I am not coordinated, however my sisters were blessed with coordination...

We had Mekenna's birthday party Sunday ((Happy Birthday Mekenna)), and the whole family was down in the basement watching everyone dance to the game.  It was quite the entertainment.  I tried to upload that video, but apparently its too long.  So I gave up.

Madison is having surgery tomorrow-bright and early in the morning! So keep her in your prayers tomorrow.  She's getting her tonsils taken out.  

Wednesday Lailee and I are heading back to Tyler.  Another looong 8 1/2 hour drive. As soon as we get home we're unpacking, repacking, and heading to Shreveport for New Years.  I can't believe another year has flown by!! Sooner than later I'm going to be old and wrinkly!! 

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas- cause we sure did!!

Twas The Night Before Christmas...

and all through the house has been lots of ruckus!! 

We've been making candy and goodies all day! We had breakfast for supper and drank wine afterwards!

It was supposed to snow last night but the weatherman failed me! It did NOT snow!! **sigh** 

Now I'm just waiting on a miracle for my white Christmas to happen!

Anyway, Maryn made some reindeer food so that Santa and his reindeer could find us tonight.  We've been tracking Santa all day at http://www.noradsanta.org/en/index.html. Needless to say lil' Miss Maryn is excited and off to bed waiting for Santa to arrive!! So am I. :)

I get to play Santa tonight, but not sure if I'm going to make it.  I'm soooo tired!

Hence why I keep telling Maryn that Santa is getting closer and that she should go to bed ASAP!

BOOOR-ING

I don't know why I'm blogging.  This will most likely be the most boring-'est' blog EVER!

Nothing has been going on.  I had doctor appointments Monday morning and glad they are over with!! Hate going to any kind of doctor!! But I did get more contacts and new glasses! So we're in check there. ;)

I'd show you a pic of my new glasses but A) I don't have them yet and B) I totally forgot who makes them so I can't find a pic on google.  I haven't had new glasses since Jr. High.  It was time for some new ones!

So I realize Christmas is coming quick and in a hurry but I DO NOT feel like its close to Christmas time at all! Even though every time I get in a car, there's Christmas music, Christmas movies on T.V., presents under the tree, decorations everywhere, shoppers everywhere, and still I don't feel like its Christmas time!

I start to think I'm crazy until I realize that it's probably the dad gum weather!! I'm not even in the tropics where apparently it was 80 degrees today and it's still in the 70s here in Sunray! Granted it gets colder at night...but I'm not out at night.  I know LUH LUH LUH LOSER. Anyway besides the point...IT SHOULD BE SNOWING!! It would make my year if I had a white Christmas.

I have been iChatting with Trevor here lately...so now we don't have to go days without seeing each other's precious faces.  I know precious.  

I also started doing P90x while I've been home.  I was kinda slacking off working out in general there for a while but I'm back.  I kinda didn't want to tell any of you because then a few days/weeks/months ya'll will ask if I'm still doing it....and well I don't know about that. Ha. I'm going to try my best to stick to it but I'm not going to lie...it was hard to even get at it today because I was soooo incredibly sore!! I couldn't even walk around to shop. Ugh.

Christmas Activities and Such

So being at home hasn't been that bad- I have been pretty busy though!

Yesterday I was being a bum till my sister came home with her nails done.  I all the sudden felt the need to get a manicure also! So.. I texted Jeanie, who I haven't seen in forever, and we went!! It was so relaxing.  I would've loved to have gotten a pedicure, ((Pedicures are the best)) but it's winter and no one sees my toes so I didn't feel the need to spend money on a pedi when no one will get to see them but me! But I got my nails painted red because I'm festive like that! :)

After we got our nails done and had supper, I went over to Babe and Brian's to give them their fudge.  While I was there I got a Christmas present from them! I <3 Christmas presents!!

They're both so very cute!! And very fitting.  However they both have wine on them so I don't know what they were trying to get at... haha just kidding!!

Today was the Annual Johnson Christmas Party.

The whole fam goes and has a grand ol' time. 

We exchange ornaments, eat lots of good food, laugh, etc.  I went with an ornament that was a red ball and said "Tis better to give than to receive...yeah right." My mom thought it fit perfectly...no idea why. She picked out pretty hateful ones for Mekenna and I.  Mekenna's said "define good".  We didn't think they were too funny. Anyway, a story was read with the words RIGHT and LEFT in it.  So the 'kids' ((kids is in quotations because I don't consider myself a kid but I still have to be with them.  Really we're separated by generation rather than Kids and Adults)) sat in a circle while Missy read the story.  I ended up with this cute ornament...

It was a good time and delicious food as always!! Can't wait till next years!

When we got home my sisters started playing with Lailee and were tossing her a balloon.  In the process she learned something new.

Oohh Lailee she's such a mess! But I <3 her!!

Tomorrow is a morning full of doctor appointments.  Joy.

Can't Always Get What You Want

So this morning I woke up to...

SNOW!!

Oh my goodness I was soo excited!! The head of my bed is at a window and as soon as I woke up I looked out and saw snow!! I L-O-V-E the S-N-O-W!!

Now if only it'd snow on Christmas! Ya right...but one can still hope!

Anyway back to my title- Because it snowed, Mekenna's basketball game got cancelled. :(

I guess I can't wish for snow AND to get to see my sister play.  Sad day. 

AND because it snowed AND since we don't get to go to Mekenna's game BECAUSE of the snow the night has resulted into I guess you could say, "Family Movie Night".

Jeff isn't particularly the best person to watch a movie with.  Maybe he'll fall asleep. ;)

We're watching Jim Carrey's A Christmas Carol since we're full of such Christmas spirit and all. 

It's supposed to be pretty good so I guess we'll see!

A Special Shout Out

to my little sister Maryn Emily!!!

She turned 6 years old today!! Happy Birthday!!! 

She's growing up entirely way too fast..makes me sad.

Things were pretty hectic as soon as I made my arrival home.  I was cuttin it close though.  Her party started at 4:30-supper at 5- Maryn's Christmas program at 6:30- Band concert at 7:45- Finished her party with cake at 8:45. I didn't make it in till 5:15 ish.  I was exhausted.  I had every intention on leaving by 8 but didn't wake up till 7:30 so by the time I got ready, packed up, grabbed my coffee, and headed out it wasn't till 9 till I got on I-20. Which I had to get ready since we had so many plans.

And sorry Mekenna this is as good as it gets.  Since Mekenna is cool and plays the drums...there was no way I could get a picture of her-so I just got the whole band.  Yes Santa did come.  He looked pretty legit.  I thought about going and giving him my Christmas list. :)

From what I hear, tomorrow isn't going to slow down either...

I get to watch Mekenna play basketball for the first time since she's been in highschool. I'm pretty excited cause I love to watch her play. She better kick some booty tomorrow! Good luck Mekenna!!

On a side note- ((I've been waiting to say this for a while now)) ITS SNOOOWING!!! 

I almost had a panic attack when I walked outside but its definitely snowing. =D 

I AM ONE BIG HAPPY CAMPER!! Let's hope there's lots of it on the ground tomorrow!! :)

I'll Be Home For Christmas...

Welp, tomorrow marks another day that Lailee and I have to make our long journey home.

Yay- so excited...NOT. 

Don't get me wrong I love going home, but the drive home SUCKS! - Trust me there's no better way to put it other than it just plain out sucks!! 

I have to prepare myself to be busy for about two weeks straight. 

Tomorrow is Maryn's birthday.  She will be 6 years old!! She's growing up so fast.. *tear*

She's quite the character though..she's pretty funny.

Then tomorrow night is her Christmas program, then my other two sisters have a band concert, THEN Friday is Mekenna's basketball game and so on.  Busy busy!!

I have yet to pack to go on this long journey.  Packing in general isn't too bad..I've gotten used to it BUT packing to go home is horrible!! How am I supposed to plan out outfits for basically two weeks?! Like I know what I'm going to be doing everyday. Ugh. Sucky sucky sucky. I'd get on it but I'm waiting on my clothes to dry. 

Another thing that sucks about going home is my sisters could care less if I came home.  If I shipped Lailee home on a plane and stayed here, they'd be perfectly okay with that.  I'm going to go ahead and say thats a bad thing. And/or a sad thing. 

But who could resist a face like this??

FUDGE

So last night I made fudge.

I made it to give away as a few gifts. Surprisingly I only managed to slip 1 measly little piece into my watering mouth. Don't worry I didn't give them away on paper plates. Except for one family I didn't have an extra canister on hand and was too lazy to go AAALL the way to Walmart so sorry guys!! 

I was kind of worried about it because if you didn't know fudge has to be watched like a hawk and it has to get up to a specific temp.  But I suppose it turned out alright.

Today was my last day of work! ((for the semester anyway)) You see the only reason I have a job is because the mom of the baby I watch goes to school.  So the semester is over so no job for Mekayla not until next semester that is.  Kinda sucks-kinda doesn't.  It's a break but then again no moolah! :( Which i was just babysitting so it wasn't like I needed a break anyway. However during my last day...the child I watch was kinda cranky and she's never really that bad so I was started wondering "what the heck is wrong with you?!?!?" So I put her in her high chair to give her a snack. This is what happened...

So thank goodness we figured out why this little girl was not a happy camper.

Jessica and I exchanged gifts tonight.  What would ya know....we got each other the SAME EXACT thing!! From the SAME EXACT store. Okay so there was a slight difference.  We both got each other scarves that were 99.5% the same. Same color, same style, same length, the only difference is how it is knitted.  Pretty crazy.  

Tomorrow continues my lazy days. :) Aaahhh.. <3 them!!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas...

So as all of you learned from my previous blog- Trevor and I had Christmas Saturday!! 

I kinda feel like Christmas is over now-haha. Probably because Trevor keeps saying, "I guess we can take the Christmas tree down since Christmas is over." Anyway everyone was trying to ruin our Christmas but I guess I'll forgive them all.  First Trevor wanted to go to town but lollygagged around ALL DAY! So by the time we went to town we were rushing back to eat supper etc.  While we were out the on call guy needed his help "It will only take 10 min" Ya right...try 45 min. Once we finally got done there, all of his friends apparently so coincidentally started inviting themselves over.  Now how true this really is waay beyond me.  So after I put my foot down ( ;) ) his friends weren't coming over till 8:45 ((15 min before the UFC fight started- the reason everyone was inviting themselves over)) So we had stew and opened presents.

Trevor got an iPod and stuff to go with it such as -iPod cover, iTunes gift card, & a thing to hook it up in his truck.  However, I thought he would be able to get iTunes on his company computer-I was wrong.

So he bought a new computer yesterday and this is his feelings on that...

Needless to say he spent the rest of the evening transporting songs onto his computer...

I got some incredibly, amazing, oh so comfortable, stylish, UGGS!! Yay!!! :)

Yes he tried to be sneaky and wrap them in a Bud Light box instead of the actual boot box.  He didn't quite have me fooled. :)

I also got a Witten jersey.  And it has changed Witten's life all around.  I put it on yesterday right after the game started and BOOM TD from Witten! And then a Witten commercial came on T.V. how often do you see one of those?? Needless to say I will be contacting him wanting some sort of profit from all his good luck that I'm causing.  I also got a pretty bling-bling pink wine glass. I didn't get a pic of it but I'm sure you could imagine what it looks like.

Friday we went to Kobe with a couple of friends.  We enjoyed some delicious Japanese food along with some sushi.  Trevor tried something new and it wasn't too shabby.  He has made me eat food that I honestly never thought would ever be digested into my stomach.  Afterwards we came back to the house and had a fire.

Fires are another reason that can be added to my list of why I love Christmas time!! 

Today I am cooking up a storm.  My Betty Crocker side is coming out once again.

Grey's Night & Fine Wine

I'm back in the state of LA. Surprising I know.

And it's Thursday if any of you didn't know.

Trevor dubbed Thursday nights Grey's Anatomy, Private Pracitce & wine!

Such a lovely idea...until today!!

Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice puttered out on us. :'(  

Sad I know. They won't be back till January!!  Although they have left us without reason, the wine is here to stay!! :)

So what tonight will bring is beyond me.  I suppose we'll have to tune into something else.

HOWEVER..Saturday is Christmas. Well for Trevor and I anyway. ((16 days till the real Christmas!!))  I'm leaving next week to go home for Christmas and I already had his Christmas presents so why not splurge and open early!! Wonder what I'm getting...hhmm guess I'll have to let you all know later! Unless you already know...then you should probably just tell me. :)

Day One

As I said in my previous blog, "Hello to staying up late and sleeping in"

-Last night and today I did just that.

I stayed up watching movies because Jessica managed to get us free HBO and Cinemax. 

When I finally went to bed, I slept like a baby! It was amazing.  I slept till 10:15. Which was also amazing. I then proceeded my movie watching with Leap Year and Home Alone. :)

I laid on the couch all morning, wrapped up in my cozy blanket, in my pajamas, eating breakfast, watching movies.  It was so amazingly awesome that I was dreading going to work.  And then ring ring my phone rings and it's the lady I work for.  "Hey I just remembered that my husband is off for the next two days, so we don't really need you if that's okay with you" OMG! I was going to be able to lay on the couch all day!! I was perfectly okay with that until I opened my big fat mouth. I was trying to let them know nicely that it was fine by me that I didn't have to come in today but if her husband wanted to do something then I wouldn't mind coming in. 

I mean you could only guess what happened next. "Honey- do you want Mekayla to come over while you go do something?" WELL HECK YES HE DOES. So I had to force myself out of my pajamas and go to work for a few hours.  Where I received my first Christmas present. ((17 more days!!))

When I got home Jessica and I treated ourselves to dinner at McAllister's and a movie- Morning Glory. The movie was kinda weird...it ended awfully abruptly. 

So I'd say my first day of vaca from school wasn't too shabby.

Tomorrow it's off to Louisiana once again -but as of right now...

My absolute favorite Christmas movie. 

No idea why but it is. Maybe because it's "Two Thumbs Up!" :)

Finals:2 Mekayla:0

Today the semester ended for me.  YAY!! I'm soo glad it's over with! For some reason at the end of the semester I start being VERY forgetful! I'm soo good throughout the semester, waking up early, making it to class ((didn't miss one class this semester)), doing my homework, studying, etc. But by the time the end of the semester gets here it's like I just get tired and give up.  It's ridiculous and I hate it.

Sunday- I was up studying till 12:30 and was sooo tired that I just stopped.  I studied but not as hard as I should have.

Monday- I went to take my test and forgot my calculator and my book/lab manual so I could have a periodic chart right in front of me.  (Luckily he gave us one and had extra calculators)
AND I had an assignment due but totally forgot about it.  Luckily it worked out to where I didn't even have to do it because I had enough points already and ended up still making an A.

Today- I woke up at 7:52! I leave my apartment by 8:00 to be at class by 8:25.  Needless to say I went with my hair up and no make-up. AND was 5 min late. On the plus side- I returned my books and got an unbelievable amount of money back. YAY!! :)

**Apparently my no make-up look worked for me cause I totally got hit on today, so that made me feel a little better about how I looked today.**

So like I just said...thank goodness the semester is over because I would be afraid to see what would happen tomorrow.
Hello to staying up late and sleeping in! :)

Tonight was spaghetti night at work...

and that's all I have to say about that.  (Besides- you think I was kidding about watching the 25 Days of Christmas...if you look closely it's on the T.V.)

I also brought her her Christmas present tonight and let her open it.

twenty-one

TWENTY ONE YEARS OLD is precisely how old I am and this past weekend WORE ME OUT!

I am sooo completely tired!! I thought at 21 I was supposed to be full of energy and never run out. Kinda like the Energizer Bunny?? Apparently not.  Either that or I'm not aging well.  Sunday morning ((the morning after Trevor's company Christmas party)) my entire body ached. :| Totally not cool. So self: If you could find your young body again that would be great. :)

Saturday was a blast.  Dinner was good. I got to dress up-which is always fun.  I did have a minor...okay MAJOR freak out Saturday night.  I tried on the dress I had bought to wear at the store and had NO problem zipping the sucker up, but I'd have guessed it that it wasn't going to work the night I actually had to wear it!! Ugh. We were almost late because the thing wouldn't zip.  I had to call in Jessica to help me.  It finally zipped so major freakout was fixed. 

I am kinda sad that Trevor and I didn't get a picture. :( We were all cute and matched and everything.  Sad day.

On the plus side- I had a final today!! 1 down 1 to go!! :) YAY!! I'm one test away from being done for the semester.  

Oh ya, I forgot.  I decorated my third well really fourth Christmas tree last night!! 

Aw. Sooo pretty.  I really wanted new decorations but attempting to get Trevor to go with me to do this = complete failure.

Some presents and a fire would have completed the picture.  Maybe next time. :)

Today when I left, this is what I was faced with.

The only reason I took the picture is because she was doing something more heart breaking. I get sad when I have to leave Lailee everyday. I don't know maybe I'm some sort of freak, but Jersey always gets excited and thinks she's going with us.  She even runs outside cause some how she manages to get out the door.  That sneaky little turd.  Anyway, I always have to go lock her in the cage and she always whines and digs at the door like she's trying to escape.  Breaks my heart every time. :'(

On the Other Side

OF TEXAS! 

Yup, I'm blogging from another state today.

 Louisiana has been welcoming me for almost a year and half now. Kiiiinda ridiculous I know.  This picture is unfortunately not my picture.  It completely takes away the coolness of the sign so maybe I shouldn't have told you that.  BUT do you know how hard it is to get a good picture of a sign when you're the one driving and your camera is exxxxtreeeeemeeellly slow?! Hard. So this is as good as it gets.  I don't even think thats what the sign looks like now but oh well.

So anyway yes, I am in Louisiana today- for the weekend.  According to the planner of plans...we have a lot going on this weekend.  Dinner with customers tonight-tomorrow is Eric's birthday but we don't know what's going on there yet-Christmas party Saturday and Sunday...ahem...we're putting up the Christmas tree!!! Trevor doesn't know this yet, but he will shortly! I think you've gotten the point now that Christmas is my absolutely favorite holiday but my absolutely favorite holiday candy....

YUM!! 

I had totally forgotten about these UNTIL TODAY when I had to go to Walmart! Ah! How could I forget about these little pieces of peppermint heaven?!

So to sum it all up- this girl and her boyfriend have a busy weekend ahead of them! So I hope all of you have a good weekend too!! (Even though it's Thursday-close enough)

OH P.S. I just saw a commercial for toddlers having to be in a booster seat and what not DID YOU KNOW...that you have to be 4'9" before you can ride without a booster seat?! How crazy is that?! I barely pass that height! I'm a short little 5'2 & 3/4"! (every inch counts) Just thought that was crazy.

24 DAYS TILL....

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

YES!! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!! I don't even feel like it's supposed to be Christmas. BUT IT IS!!! So I won't argue. :) I am totally starting a countdown.  ABC Family has a Christmas movie on every night till Christmas and once again THIS GIRL IS EXCITED! I tuned in last night for Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and tonight's How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  

The week is almost over...well for me anyway.  I only work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (sometimes Monday) and only go to class Monday-Thursday.  I'm pretty much a bum.   Anyway I'm excited about this too because I live for the weekends. :) I figured after the Thanksgiving holiday that it would be extremely difficult to get back into the swing of things, but actually it hasn't been that bad.  The first day back to class I didn't have to be there till 1 and I was more motivated to start the week cause this week was the last days of classes. Finals next week. :| Then the first day back to work, she didn't even know I was there because she slept the whole entire time.  It was pretty amazing.  I just laid there and watched Happy Feet.  Working out however has been the worst. thing. ever.  I think I have died every time I have worked out this week.  It's been absolutely awful.  

Last night I apparently was not supposed to get any sleep what so ever!!

First I couldn't get comfortable. Then our heater finally kicked on about 1, right when I was just about to fall asleep THEN our smoke alarm went off.  Jessica had no problem sleeping right through this.  Then Lailee had the hiccups and I thought she was about to up chuck in my bed....but no just the hiccups.  Then I couldn't get comfortable again.  Let's hope tonight goes a little more smoother.  However I have a 27 page Chemistry review to get to.  :|

This is the girl that I babysit...she got a haircut.  Her mom thinks she looks like Mo from the 3 Stooges.  Agreed?

So today during my awful math class (I hate math and it didn't help that I had an awful headache that was making me nauseous anyway thats besides the point) a girl raised her hand.  No big deal, she probably just didn't understand what we were going over or had another question.  Yup another question was what she was raising her hand for.  No big deal right? No. BIG DEAL. She asked if she could go to the bathroom!! What are we in 1st grade again? Like really?? What is she going to do? Fail you for going to the bathroom?? I just thought that was INSANE! No she's going to make you uncomfortable and tell you no.  I mean I figured that she would know after 5 million people walk out of class willingly everyday that she could at least go to the bathroom...ANYWAY enough about that.  Silly college girl thinking she needed permission to go to the bathroom made my morning.

  

Besides everything else. This is my new favorite choice of music. My sweet friend Abby gave me a copy of this CD. When I first stared listening to it, I thought it was alright. NOW..I listen to just about every single song over and over! Love it!

A Little Elementary Humor

So while I was home for Thanksgiving break, my 5 year old sister told me a couple of jokes.

Yes they came from a 5 year old but they're pretty funny.

Anyway I thought they were pretty funny.  However, Lailee and I made it back! It was the longest trip ever because I went to church and ate lunch and didn't leave till 1! And then I stopped in Denton to eat supper with my cousin. But now that I'm back, I feel horrible!! Stupid Sunray- well that's who I'm blaming anyway.  I haven't felt bad or been sick in forever! And then this morning I woke up and felt horrible. I couldn't even get out of bed and it was 11! I haven't slept that late in forever! Anyway I think it's just my sinuses so I guess it could be worse!!

THANKSGIVING BREAK...

HAS BEEN AMAZING! Ahh, finally some relaxation! No work, no school, just sleep, eat, and shop!!!

Thanksgiving dinner was delish as always...

Endless amounts of food-seriously we still have turkey left over.

Had I ate any more turkey or pumpkin pie I'm convinced that I might have turned into either one.  Come to think about it, I think I picked up the pumpkin-ish figure.

Friday we went Black Friday shopping.  We retardedly went to bed at 12 and woke up at 2.  You're welcome fellow Black Friday shoppers for me putting make-up on at 2 in the morning.  I debated even taking off the previous days make-up, but did it anyway.  HOWEVER for the rest of me, I looked like I just rolled out of bed- which technically I did.  I think the people that actually dress up to go shopping are C-R-A-Z-Y!!! I might have given some more effort had I known my mom wanted to make a day out of it!! YES 12 HOURS OF SHOPPING! Don't get me wrong I LOVE shopping, but 12 hours? IT'S EXHAUSTING!! We did end up getting lots of stuff for cheap! My mom even got tired me of complaining about my TENNIS SHOES hurting my feet, that she bought me a new pair! I started instantly smiling when I put my new shoes on. I was a whole new person and was ready to shop some more!! Thanks Mom. 

**I do have to give my boyfriend a shout out for being UH-MAZING! I fell in love with a pair of boots that were regularly $100 and on sale for $30. My mom strangely thought that JC Penney's never runs out of stuff so that would be our last stop.  Well Penney's DOES run out of things because by the time we got there THEY WERE GONE! So he so nicely went to the one in Shreveport and got them for me!! Thanks Trevor- Love ya!!**

So now that Thanksgiving is over....GUESS WHAT?!?! IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!! Ah! It's my absolute favorite time of the year!! Music, decorations, the weather, the food- EVERYTHING! EXCEPT....hanging lights on the roof! Ugh...I don't really like heights to begin with.  My stomach starts turning when I look down and guess what hanging lights up on the roof is all about? Yes... LOOKING DOWN. I honestly didn't think it was going to be that bad till I got up there! Thank goodness for my 14 yr. old sister- Good Job Mekenna on the lights- They look good! I, however, just sat on the roof and watched.  We also put both trees up too. ;)

Don't Fret...

As all of you may know, Jessica and I had a blog together.

We are still BFF's, as far as I'm concerned.

We just realized that blogging together was hard because we were never free when the other was.

Therefore, I decided to start blogging on my own.

My life may not be as interesting as mine and Jessica's combined, so I apologize. :)

However I will do my best to blog about my boring life more often than when Jessica and I had a blog together.
