It's Christmas Time Again...

Do I dare need to retell you all, my obsession with Christmas?! I won't go into great detail, but I did get our decorations up!! Whoop!!

I also made a few changes this year!

I got these leopard balls! I love them simply because I'm obsessed with leopard. 

I used burlap instead of ordinary Christmas decorated ribbon- hate all you want, but I'm also obsessed with burlap. Trevor thinks it's retarded and as much as my mom wanted to say it too, she said it would be pretty.  Everything we saw that was Christmas decorations, she would say, "Look! That would go with your "burlap" tree" with giggles to follow. I called her out, which in turn only lead to, "No, I think it will be pretty".  So haters, go on and keep hatin'! :)

I also added these angels! I found them for cheap during the summer. Yes, during the summer! What can I say. I. LOVE. CHRISTMAS TIME!! I had the hardest time trying to find a spot for my cute angels, however I finally just moved some stuff and gave them some greens and where they are at will have to do this year, *cough cough since I don't have a mantle Trevor cough Lee Martin! cough cough*

I also added some more stuff to the top of the tree.  Every single tree I see has a bunch of stuff stuck at the top so that's what I did!  Regardless of Trevor's thoughts of it looking like a peacock's bottom, I LOVE it! 

And the other picture would be my tree all together! Those two precious pups are not any changes to this year, they just thought they would make it look better!! 

I also added some decorations outside!! I begged for Trevor to actually put lights on the roof, but he's a Bah Humbug! And I was going to add lights to the garland, but I knew they would never get plugged in anyway. So I threw some ribbon on it and made Mr. Bah Humbug himself put them up!! 

After shopping at Hobby Lobby in Amarillo over Thanksgiving break, I'm quite disappointed in the Hobby Lobby here in Shreveport!! There was so much I wanted in Amarillo, but knew that I couldn't get everything in my suitcase!! I was lucky to get the garland and leopard balls in my suitcase! 

Anyway, yay for Christmas time!!!

Thanksgiving!!!

Day 22 (Thanksgiving):  I am thankful for all of my family and so glad I got to spend Thanksgiving with them! Inluding my uncles, grandparents, cousins, and aunts.....aunt.....maybe even mroe specifically my aunt Missy! Who's child drew my name for Christmas! ;)

I am also thankful that I have such a great life and am healthy!!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and ate too much because I now have a food baby!!

Can't wait to get home and put up my tree! Yay for Christmas!!!

Eighteen, Nineteen, Twenty, Twenty-one!!

No, I have not stopped being thankful, I just got far behind!!  So let's catch up!

Day 18: I am thankful for my car!  It gets me place to place!! Thank goodness! :)

Day 19: I am thankful for my cousin who let me stay at his place even though he wasn't there so I wouldn't have had to drive from Shreveport to Dallas to make my 8:30 AM flight!

Day 20:  I am thankful for my grandparents!! They are so loving and would do anything for you in a heartbeat! I always tell them to pray for me when I have tests or for anything else and my mom says that my grandma will go to the church the morning of the day I have a test and pray!  All credit to them for why I'm passing! Ha.

Day 21:  I am thankful for my sisters! Every time I come home, they are just so excited to see me!  It feels like they just love me so much!  Just as much as I love them!!! :)

Fifteen Through Seventeen

Day 15: I am thankful for my pups! 

They keep me company when Trevor leaves for a week and can bark anyone, to death, away!  

Day 16: I am thankful for my phone!  Crazy, I know.  However, when Trevor is gone, I can call my mom and make her talk to me until I make it safely into the house to make sure there are no killers in the house waiting for me to get home! :)

Day 17:  I am thankful I can enjoy this weekend by relaxing and doing absolutely nothing because I am on Thanksgiving break!!!!!!!!! So excited! Every break from school is always so needed!! :)

FoUrTeEn!

Day 14: I am SO thankful that I don't have to look, even though I probably should, at this awful book written in French for a week and a half! Bye bye book!! For now... :(

Simple as that.

Also...

Yup! Tickets for Breaaaaaking Daaaawn!!! I'm excited! I'll admit I'm not as excited as I have been in the past because they took so long to get all these movies out. Ha. But I'm still excited.  And come to find out.... I was going to wait till I got home to go see it with my mom, but she informed me that she was going to the showing that showed all the movies.  However, she found out she has to work that day. So I think she was a little disappointed to hear that I was going to see it Saturday.  Guess I'll be seeing it twice!! Oh well. :)

The Lucky #13

Day 13:  I am thankful for my ice scraper!  

Yup, without it I wouldn't have been able to see crap today!  I was already running late and it frustrated me that I had to scrape my car off, but yay for having an ice scraper!!! :) I am also thankful for some God sent lady informing me that my coffee was on top of my car.  I made it to the end of the neighborhood and realized that I still couldn't see crap, so I put my car in park to scrape more ice.  I saw this van pull up beside me rolling down their window.  I thought she was about to ask if she could borrow my ice scraper, however she was just informing me that my coffee was on top of my car.  Geez, so thankful it stayed on top of my car until she told me so, because I most definitely needed coffee this morning.  Hopefully my week will straighten out!

2 tests, 1 class, 1 day of clinic, and 1 paper away from a very much needed Thanksgiving break!!

Ten, Eleven, Twelve!

Day 10:

I am thankful for my coffee.  I love coffee on Saturday mornings! I love coffee Sunday-Saturday.  I pretty much love it all the time!  Even when I'm studying I feel like an old woman because I'll drink coffee while I'm studying.  I used to even hate the smell of coffee and now I can't get enough of it!  I still have to use a crap ton of creamer, but whatever. I would not be able to get through the day without coffee!! 

Yay for coffee!!!

Day 11: I am thankful for all the veterans and all that are serving our country today! God bless you all!

Day 12:  I am thankful for my job.  Ya I said it.  This is kinda like school.  I complain about it, but I am glad that I have the opportunity to have a job period.  I get to do my homework, listen to my iPod, and drink coffee.  Same setup as at the house, however I'm getting paid to do so.  ;)  If I do complain about work, it's only because of some of the people I work with.  We don't always get along.  I can't help their stupidity sometimes.  :)

Day 9.

I am thankful for my redneck wine glasses! And Amy who spotted them and remembered that I had been wanting some and brought them to me from Monroe!! 

(For all you who have English OCD I know that that sentence is a runon.  I was only adding "and" so many times to emphasize all my excitement, somewhat how a small child would do)

Can't wait to drink wine out of these beauties!!

Oops!

I missed a day! 

Day 7: 

I am thankful that I have a God to pray to for anything that I need Him for.

Day 8:

 I am thankful that my presentation is over! Good grief. I swear it went as bad as I knew it was going to go.  I am AN AWFUL public speaker.  I had good intentions, just didn't quite make it there.  Why we even have to do this is beyond me!! It's awful.  Of course I had my boyfriend who can bs a cow into believing they don't produce milk and could probably talk for days tell me just to get up there and talk.  And didn't understand why I was so nervous.  Clearly that's where him and I are complete opposites.  He doesn't care and is never embarrassed.  It was most definitely a nightmare.  After today I wonder how I made it through speech.  Whew! So glad it's over with!

DAY SIX

Day 6: I am thankful for the opportunity to further my education in college. Even though I complain and hate every second of it.  

Lord knows I've been going long enough to be a doctor by now, but everything happens for a reason and that's my only excuse for still being in school.  Everyone always says that I say that like it's a bad thing.  I feel like it is because it has taken me soooo long to even see the glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel, but atleast I haven't given up and am still working hard at reaching my goal.  

I would rather have gone for forever than 20 years down the road and regret not finishing.  

So people who are younger than me and are graduating before me back off.  Ha jk. But seriously just let me do my thing.  I am tired of being judged for still being in school.

Everything happens for a reason.

I am thankful that I still have the opportunity to go. 

Only 4 more semesters.  Sigh....

Day 5: I am thankful for my friends.

I also have to add to being thankful for my sweet, loving, caring boyfriend for leaving more surprises! Saturday I was thankful that he did things for me unexpectedly like taking my car to get an oil change, an air filter, etc. What I didn't know he did till this morning was...

Day 4: Just Thankful for Everything!

It's the fourth day of November and I have so many little things to be thankful for!

Starting with...

The time! Yup... I am thankful for that extra hour of sleep I got last night!  Since there was an extra hour of sleep Trevor believed that we should get up and go to church early! So...we did. But afterwards we ate at Another Broken Egg, which I have been dying to go! And it was delish!! Loved everything about it! We gave a whole new meaning to pigging out!

Afterwards we did a little shopping.  I have been wanting a hay bale since the beginning of September. My friend's boyfriend was supposed to be getting us some for free however he's a very busy man and well things happen so that prolonged me getting one cause why not just wait if its free right?! 

Well I finally got one today! They were basically giving them away! They were already on sale for $4 and then another 75% off!

So yes I am thankful for cheap fall decorations even though we only have a month left of fall! :)

I love this Sunday! Thankful for another day!

Thankful

Oh geez have I been busy! Tests, class, work, papers, presentations, homework, a never ending cycle.  Fo the shizzle.  

I can not wait for Thanksgiving break!! And even better Christmas!!! 

I am exactly 1 presentation, 1 paper, 1 PowerPoint, 3 tests, and 2 1/2 days of clinic away from Thanksgiving break! I think I can I think I can!

This week for some reason really just exhausted me!! I'm in surgery this week for clinic and for some reason when I come home I'm much more tired than when I'm in clinic for just seeing walking talking people needing x-rays.

Me being exhausted leads me to two #1 reasons I am considered a loser.

#1 Last night I was falling asleep before 10:30 on the couch on a Friday night. Laaaaame!

My second reason for being a loser has nothing to do with me being exhausted, however I got in the Halloween spirit Wednesday and dressed up! Ha.  It wasn't all out or anything.  A couple of girls and I bought tiger ears and a tail to wear to class cause we're cool and I just came home and put on appropriate clothes that made me look more tiger-ish.  I also played Halloween music on Pandora and watched Hocus Pocus while I handed out candy! 

Now it is November which is a month to remind us to be thankful.  To make it clear, I am thankful for my life every single day of the year, however I just thought it would be fun to think about all the little things to be thankful for each day.  Since it is already the 3rd day in November, I will catch up!

Day 1: I am thankful for my family that cares about me so much! They will do anything for me and for that I am grateful! Love them!

Day 2:  I am thankful that I passed both my tests this week and also I am thankful for having a pretty successful semester so far!

Day 3: I am thankful for my sweet boyfriend who does little things for me unexpectedly! Like letting me sleep in and taking my car to get an oil change and a new air filter! Love him!

From now on I will try to keep up and maybe even add pictures to all my thankfuls. ;)
