When I say that we partied all weekend. We partied all weekend.
Friday began with going out on the town.
Andrew had a bachelor party to attend, so we tagged Misty along with us! Despite what Trevor might say, he had a blast with us two girls!!
Saturday we woke up and got ready for the lake!
Yes she just had a baby and yes it is ridiculous that it looks like she hasn't!
Just sayin! We stayed out on the lake for a few hours just chillin' and tubin'. It was tons of fun!
We had a pretty big group all weekend which made it even more fun!
We made it back home for supper and cooked out. The boys watched the fight while us girls did more socializing than watching. Later after everyone left, Karl's brother and Karl were still here. Karl's brother likes to party. End of story. So he convinced Trevor and Karl to go out...here are the results of that.
He says the picture does it no justice. Which I suppose he's kind of right. The picture doesn't show how deep the cut actually is. It's pretty nasty. And yes he shaved his leg so he could put a bandaid on it due to the fact that it wouldn't quit bleeding.
Sunday we woke up sunburned, but retardedly made the decision to go to the river. I packed on the sunscreen since I was already burned, but retard didn't. In fact, I don't think he wore any all weekend. I kept asking if he wanted some, but apparently he forgot he's a white boy and thought he could take the sun. Needless to say a few hours later, Trevor wasn't feeling too hot. So we managed to leave early.
Yesterday was 4th of July!!! I had the day off and amazingly so did Trevor. He was on call, but once again amazingly did not get a call. We did some shopping yesterday and came home to cook supper! We were worried we weren't going to have electricity because our shopping trip was cut short when the mall and Walmart and everyone else didn't have any power and due to the fact that we didn't have any Thursday evening. No worries, we had power! Trevor cooked ribs. Trevor's a good cook, but I was slightly impressed by his ribs. They were pretty darn good.
I believe that Lailee and Jersey were more excited that we were having ribs than we were. They got, as Trevor called them, "Happy 4th of July ribs". We had to take them away from them before they ate the whole entire bone.

Afterwards we were trying to decided what to do for fireworks. We were going to go to town and watch them from there, but they were calling for rain. Right as soon as Trevor made the decision of staying at the house to pop fireworks instead of going into town, it started raining. We thought we made the right decision. Had we gone into town, we would've gotten soaked! Too bad we didn't make it, apparently Jerrod Niemann was there for the after show! We had to hold off on popping fireworks due to the rain, but it stopped about 9:30 so we got to have our little bit of fun.
All in all it was a great weekend!!

So I'm assuming you guys bought a new tube? Or was it someone elses? Because that one we used is SHOT haha!
ReplyDeleteHaha ya it was someone else's. The tube that we were on was a blast!! It could hold 3 people but we only tried it with 2. They were thinking that it meant 3 kids... :)
