All weekend it has been raining. It was supposed to non-stop rain Friday, but it didn't. However there was a bit of a temperature change. If it's going to be warm...stay warm.
Friday we went to Diamond Jacks Casino for All-You-Can-Eat-Crab-Legs. Pretty tasty! However...for all you who know me know that I hate frogs. Like despise them. I just hate their little throbbing throats and their long green hopping legs. Blah! Anyway...here at this casino there were FROG LEGS!
Absolutely not was I about to eat them.
I mean seriously? Look at them!! They resemble an exact frog. UGH! I did not want anything to do with them, but of course my loving, sweet boyfriend put them on my plate. I had chosen to put them aside, but Karl and his kids joined us and they were all making fun of me. I couldn't have little kids having the guts to eat nasty little frogs and then making fun of me for being a baby about it. Trevor had the courtesy to pull them apart so that when I ate them they wouldn't so much resemble a frog. However, they just tasted like chicken. Just like every weird thing does. My mom brought up a valid point: Why does everything taste like chicken?
Speaking of my mom...
She's on a kick of collecting these wines called The Middle Sister.
They're kinda fun! Each flavor of wine is called something. For example: Pinot Grigio is Drama Queen. Chardonnay is Sweet & Sassy and so on. They also have a little story thing on the back and all have different colored tops! When she came to visit she had brought 2 bottles. One was the Chardonnay, which we drank. Well yesterday while Trevor and I were out, we came to a stop light and Trevor up and decided to go into the store that was right there at the stop light. When we went it, they had a lot of seafood and wines. I came across the Middle Sister wines, so I decided to try the Pinot Grigio. Not too shabby! Thanks Mom for getting me on this kick!
Today it rained ALL DAY! Needless to say it was most definitely a lazy day! Oh yes, speaking of lazy days. We watched The Help last night and it was a great movie! I've been wanting to watch it for a while now and just haven't. I strongly suggest watching it! Anyway back to today. Lazy. Completely. Trevor did cook some ribs for supper and I might add that they were pretty tasty! Be jealous.
I hope all of you have a fabulous week!
& this is life as I know it...
