Man Oh Man!

I have a lot to catch up on! Let's start with Mother's Day shall we?

My momma came to Shreveport for Mother's Day! I know what you're thinking...it was Mother's Day and she came to me?! She's crazy.  I had every intention of going to Houston, but she said it was supposed to rain there and decided that she just wanted to come here anyway.  Whatever mom...

Anyway, I was glad she chose to come here because I decided to give her a massage for Mother's Day! I was excited about it because she had never had one.  It was obviously meant to be because I had been calling all week and everyone was booked.  The morning of the Saturday she came, one of the Spas called me and said someone had cancelled!  She said she loved it! 

Trevor and I also took her to her favorite fish place.  Well I say favorite, but she refuses to try any where other than this one fish place Trevor took her to ONE time.  

In the very same weekend, Trevor sold the boat.

That's all there is to that....I don't have much to say.  I've been pretty heartbroken about it here lately.

Let's see...what else has been going on in my life??

Oh yes, last week Trevor noticed that Lailee had seriously been at her ear all day.  She always itches, I think its because she has allergies.  Anyway, he thought she had ear mites.  I said he was crazy.  I googled it and after looking at her ear I had decided that she had an awful ear infection.  I took her into the vet and sure enough an ear infection is what she had.  So now for the past week and for the next few days I've been having to put medicine in her ear.  She loves it so much!  Not...I don't love it either. Her ear stinks, it's greasy, its flaky, it's NASTY! Ready for her medicine to be done with so I can give that stinky girl a bath!  The vet informed me that she couldn't get a bath or go to the groomers until her ear infection was over.

Yesterday Trevor killed snakes!  Yuck!!  Misty called because her dog wouldn't stop barking.  When she looked out her dog was barking at a snake and the neighbors house.  It was a long nasty scary process...to watch.  Ha.  The other lady neighbor ran over there immediately as soon as she saw Trevor and helped him kill it.  As for me...I just watched. :)  Now I'm scared to go outside...

This weekend is Memorial Day weekend.  A big thanks to all of our troops that have served our country!

What are we up to this weekend you ask?? Nada.  Why? Oh because Trevor sold the boat.  Gosh.

Trevor's actually cooking ribs today...they smell really good! I've been ordered to make Angel Food cake today, I still haven't done it.  It's just outta a box....how hard could it be?!

Since we have no boat, I opted to laying out today.  Its pretty hot though.  However the wind decided to blow today so it's a nice breeze every once in a while!  The dogs and I decided that we needed a little "doggie" pool, so we sent Trevor out looking for one! Ha.  We know we're all spoiled.  We'll see what he finds!  Hopefully something to semi cool all of us off!!
