About Me

My photo
I am a student just trying to graduate and living life. I have a wonderful family, great friends, and an awesome boyfriend. Oh and I have a precious pup that I love so much. I love reading a good book, playing board games/cards, and decorating for anything. Working out makes me feel so much better, but it's a battle everyday. I've been in school for what seems like forever and will finally graduate in May. I am also a firm believer in "Everything Happens for a Reason". All in all as its beens said plenty of times before- I'm not perfect BUT I'm me! :)

It's Tuesday...

And I've already hit the bathtub, Adele radio, and the wine up.  Don't judge!
I think this should play into my everyday routine!!
I needed some time to relax, here lately I've just been tired of my everyday life! Blaaah.  It's the same thing every. single. day.  I need a change.  Some spice! Ha.  Joking.  That sounds entirely too ungrateful.  I should be incredibly thankful for my life, which I am, it's just irritating that I'm ready for a change and I can't do anything about it.  It's school mainly that's making me feel this way.
I mean can you blame me?! I've only been in school for 500 years.  Literally.
I know that my life is really great and that there are people wishing that they could further their education and people wishing that they could have a better life, so why am I complaining?!  I have no idea.  I'll get over it.
Where's Thanksgiving break?! Better yet, where's Christmas break?! Ever better yet, where's May 2014!?!?!?!??!!?!
Ugh....SO. FAR. AWAY.
I guess I've come too far to quit now.  After all it is semi my fault for not changing my major when I couldn't do what I wanted to do after so long.  Sigh.

Enough depressing talk.  Amy and I had a garage sale this weekend.  It was our very first.  I was actually quite impressed that all the people that showed up.  We were expecting people to bargain with us, what we weren't expecting were people or shall I say person wanting discounts.  She wanted a discount for buying so much and she literally did wipe us out pretty good.  She spent a good $85 before her discount.  And it was mostly $0.25-$1.00 pieces of clothes amongst other things.  So we gave her a discount.  Thank goodness for Trevor to cover for our awkward silence. Our sign said 7:30 ya, pretty for sure people were here at 7 because at 7:15 when I walked outside BAM! People everywhere.
The only disadvantage of the garage sale was getting up early on a Saturday...boo!!!
This girl had to keep the cups of coffee coming!!

Afterwards we got out of our grungy clothes, got all prettied up, and headed to the Shreveport symphony.  Ya you read right.  The symphony.  Amy's in a music appreciation class cause hers unfortunately did not transfer so she has to go to all these musical functions.  We figured if were going to be classy that wine was the only other classy option.  ;)  It was actually not bad probably because we had wine pre-symphony.  Ha, but really it only lasted 2 hours with an intermission!

It was overall a VERY exhausting weekend! I believe I slept all day Sunday!!!

It's Tuesday and Private Practice is coming back on!!! Whoop! Love all my "fall" shows!!

This weekend...

was a good weekend.
Friday we went to a bar that we had never been to before called Bears.  We went there because my friend Jennifer, her boyfriend is in a band and he was playing there.  It was a ton of fun and something that we don't normally do.  It's fun to have a change every once in a while!  I mean of course we go out and listen to bands, but he was in a bluegrass type band and I have never sat and listened to that type of music but like I said it was a ton of fun!!

Saturday Nebraska played early-so Trevor was up early.  It was a huge blow out.  We spent the day watching football and eating!
Saturday I also did 2 pretty exciting things.  Probably not exciting to ya'll but definitely to me!
#1 I don't know how long I have been trying to master curling my hair with a flat iron to get this specific look I've been wanting, but Saturday I finally mastered it!!
YAY!!!
Thanks Pinterest! ;)

#2 I switched out the scent in the scentsy to Pumpkin Spice!! Ahhhhh I love the smell of fall!!

We also went to the grocery store after church today.  It was raining all morning and I guess Trevor was really loving the cooler weather because he wanted stew for supper.   So that's what we had.  More reason to love fall! All the yummy warm foods! While we were at the store I ran by some Fig Newtons! I have not had them since FOR.EV.ER.  So I suggested we get some.........
Ya I guess it was a good suggestion because yes they are gone.  In one day they are GONE.
Fatties I know.  However I will say that I had my fair share, but I think the bigger fatty award would have to go to Trevor.  He seems to think that since they were fat free that it's okay!

To finish up the weekend, we seriously tore up the house from top to bottom.  House = wreck.  Amy and I decided to have a garage sale this weekend so there is stuff EVERY WHERE!
I sure hope that we're successful in our garage sale because I have been putting some hard work in today! Wish us luck-we're going to need it since this is our very first garage sale!!

The Lucky One

For the past few days, I have been wanting to watch the hot Zac Efron in The Lucky One.  It is on PPV, but we have been watching movies on PPV and they're kiiiiinda pricy. So I informed Trevor that I wanted to go to RedBox to get the movie.  I knew that it would most likely be gone since it was a newer movie.  After our first stop, just as I had thought, it was gone.  I was heartbroken. Trevor immediately told me to get in the truck cause we were going to the next one! I figured after the second one that we would give up, however we hit every RedBox since we left the house until we got to Bossier.  We finally got to our 6th one and Trevor got out by himself since we figured it wouldn't be there.  He was in line with a bunch of girls and I saw him smiling and talking- I just knew he was bragging about how we had gone to all these different RedBox's looking for this movie.  I saw him come back with movie in hand! When he got in the truck he said they didn't have it and that we were watching something different tonight. Pff. Liiiaar! I was also in fact correct because he said the girl behind him was looking for it too and she had googled what RedBox had more than 1 so she could get it.  He felt bad for taking it, but she told him he deserved it since we had been on a crazy mad hunt!
Ah Victory!
I was actually impressed with Trevor for putting in so much effort!  After that I had hoped the movie  was not going to be a bust! And it wasn't! I loved it.  Trevor thought it was oober cheesy but you know he's a male and what not.

When I told my mom about our hunt and that we finally found it she asked if he was going to watch it with me. And this is where this picture of texts between my mom and I come in...

OoOoOoOh Mom's got jokes!
She was definitely on a roll last night!  Trevor was texting her too and she even made him shut up! He couldn't even think of something to come back with! Good job Mom! You definitely won last night with all the insults! ;)
