was a good weekend.
Friday we went to a bar that we had never been to before called Bears. We went there because my friend Jennifer, her boyfriend is in a band and he was playing there. It was a ton of fun and something that we don't normally do. It's fun to have a change every once in a while! I mean of course we go out and listen to bands, but he was in a bluegrass type band and I have never sat and listened to that type of music but like I said it was a ton of fun!!
Saturday Nebraska played early-so Trevor was up early. It was a huge blow out. We spent the day watching football and eating!
Saturday I also did 2 pretty exciting things. Probably not exciting to ya'll but definitely to me!
#1 I don't know how long I have been trying to master curling my hair with a flat iron to get this specific look I've been wanting, but Saturday I finally mastered it!!
YAY!!!
Thanks Pinterest! ;)
#2 I switched out the scent in the scentsy to Pumpkin Spice!! Ahhhhh I love the smell of fall!!
We also went to the grocery store after church today. It was raining all morning and I guess Trevor was really loving the cooler weather because he wanted stew for supper. So that's what we had. More reason to love fall! All the yummy warm foods! While we were at the store I ran by some Fig Newtons! I have not had them since FOR.EV.ER. So I suggested we get some.........
Ya I guess it was a good suggestion because yes they are gone. In one day they are GONE.
Fatties I know. However I will say that I had my fair share, but I think the bigger fatty award would have to go to Trevor. He seems to think that since they were fat free that it's okay!
To finish up the weekend, we seriously tore up the house from top to bottom. House = wreck. Amy and I decided to have a garage sale this weekend so there is stuff EVERY WHERE!
I sure hope that we're successful in our garage sale because I have been putting some hard work in today! Wish us luck-we're going to need it since this is our very first garage sale!!
& this is life as I know it...
