Where do I begin?!
No....seriously.
I believe the last time we talked I was just finishing up school and counting down the days until graduation. Well guys....
I DID IT!! I feel so accomplished, finally! Whew...
My family came down to celebrate with me and it felt so good to hear that they always believed in me and knew I could do it, even if it did take an abnormal amount of time. :)
But before graduation took place, it was move out time!
I did not think I had that much stuff left to move, and it didn't look like I did; however, when you start loading up a tiny car it starts to add up.
Trevor flew in Tuesday, so we only had my car to fill with my remaining stuff. Trevor had to strategically place everything in there. It only took him two times to get everything to fit. :)
Even when he arrived to my apartment he had made the comment that we would be able to fit everything no problem. But when he started loading stuff, out came the curse words.
Our friends Amy and Patrick were so kind to put us up for the night, until we could get into our hotel room. We should've just cancelled our reservations and stayed with them by the way we were getting service at their house!
Wednesday was our pinning ceremony... I made myself giggle because right before I was about to walk across to get "pinned" I looked over to where my family was sitting and Trevor was no where to be seen. I was so mad because where the heck did he have to go right before I was about to get pinned...that's when I looked across the stage and saw him on the other side of the room preparing to take pictures! Oops....jumped the gun on that one! ;)
Our pinning ceremony was Wednesday and graduation was not until Friday so we had a day in between to explore the town.
We had to eat at my mom's favorite restaurant and that's where Maryn made a new friend and got to hold a crawfish. We went shopping at the boardwalk, ate too much, and lost (or if you were Trevor, won) money at Margaritaville. Yes, my sisters are mean they snap chatted me out to the world, making fun of how short I am.
While we were standing around getting ready to walk into graduation I had to go find my name so I could be in the right line. Remember that blog I wrote about 11 being my number??
Well low and behold... my name on the list was #11. How crazy is that?!
Since graduation was in Natchitoches, we decided to have dinner there. I had only been there once, and we ate lunch downtown and I thought it was the cutest little downtown ever, so I told my mom and we decided to eat downtown on the river. We ate at Cane's River Bar & Grill and it was awfully scrumptious. We even ordered praline cheesecake! Yummm!
Trevor ordered me a drink called the River Creep?? Or something like that I keep forgetting. It was good and proved it's name.
After dinner we went back to Shreveport to do some bowling. Trevor deemed it necessary to take a "professional bowling pic".
We headed back to Tulsa Saturday morning so we could make it in time to pick up the dogs and get ready to go to the Red Dirt Roundup concert that featured Cadillac 3, Kevin Fowler, Casey Donahew, and Randy Rogers. That's definitely one thing I will love about Oklahoma...getting to go to all those Texas Country concerts! My fave!!
Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated with me and all the gifts I got! I really appreciated it and had a great time! Bye bye Shreveport!! Hello Tulsa!
& this is life as I know it...
