In regards of my previous post, I suppose I will honor Thanksgiving before I say any more about Christmas. Now that I have decided that, I will now state, every time I blog, what I am thankful for. I said every time I blog because I don't blog everyday. If I forced myself to blog every day just so I could state what I was thankful for every day, ya'll would be bored. There's a reason why I don't blog every day and I believe we've gone over this.
So starting today, I will start stating what I am thankful for until the end of November.
Also, in regards to my previous post, I am convinced that Mother Nature has a computer and is following my blog. Why? Because today actually felt like NOVEMBER!!!!
You wanna bet there was a smile on this girl's face when she stepped outside this morning?? Because there most definitely was! Then it went away....the smile....because it was 7:15 when I stepped outside. :(
I started my observation hours today. Only 12 more to go!!! I had to be there at 8, but since traffic is horrendous, I had to leave the house at 7:15 and I was still 5 minutes late. Good thing no one noticed/said anything. Whew! Guess I will be leaving earlier tomorrow. Yup, up and at 'em again tomorrow, and Monday, and Wednesday! We were recommended to do 2 days of each 8 hour shifts, but I have to be at work by 1, so 4 hour mornings it is! I'm such a procrastinator! It is a problem and I need to do something about it.
Before I say what I am thankful for today, I want to apologize for being so bad about simply just boring you with my words and not showing you any exciting pictures! I'll try to get better about that.
Day #1 of being thankful: I am thankful today for food.
Why food you ask? Not because it's amazing and I absolutely love all kinds, but because I saw someone digging through the trash can today, not just one, but multiple trash cans looking for food. So today I am thankful that I have fresh, healthy, sometimes not so healthy, yummy, warm, food!
This thankful thought might come off as rude or some other kind of adjective, but I don't mean it like that. I thought it was sad that I had to see what I saw, so I am thankful that I do not have to go through the day wondering if I will eat or have to dig through trash to find something.
& this is life as I know it...
