On Calls = No Havin' A Ball

So the past couple of weekends haven't been the greatest.

Last weekend as we all know, I was sick. All better now!! :) This weekend, Trevor was on call.  

It really has sucked because the weather has been absolutely b-e-a-utiful.  

Today we had plans on getting some things done in the yard.  Trevor had hopes of fixing some sort of boring drain and I had hopes of planting some flowers. 

Don't make fun of my picture.  It's awful, I know.  But here's the short story on that- Zac had a run for Trevor so all hopes and dreams were out the window. :'( Therefore, we didn't get home till 5 ish and I had to plant them then.  So this is as good as it's going to get until tomorrow or another day.

In all honesty, I actually had hopes of finding this Mardi Gras decoration for the door, which I have now learned is a swag.  I also learned that if you want one of those that you better get them early!!! How was I supposed to know?! I'm not an original Louisianian girl.  It took me a long time to even find out what I was looking for was called!! Needless to say I was a little sad today.  

*sigh*

Anyway, Trevor went out on a limb today and also bought an umbrella.  He's trying to spice up his new patio....it's working...ERRR...back up- it was almost working- UNTIL we got the umbrella out and it was kinda broken.  Just on one side.  He thought he could fix it...come to find out he couldn't.  So now he'll have to take it back.

F.Y.I.- I totally just won a paper, rock, scissor battle with Trevor.  I deemed this necessary for this blog right now because I never win.

Anyway- this girl has LOTS to do this week.  LOTS.

Mardi Gras is in 6 days!!! Yay- so excited!!! Yay for Mardi Gras!! Yay for yummy food!! Yay for drinks!! And yay for a good time with good people!!
