So Far, So Good

Well I've made it another day blogging. Go me!

There was never anything wrong with praising yourself a little. ;)

Yesterday, I believe I shed a little tear. I took the Christmas tree down. *sigh* I think next year I'll just keep it up year round. I also hate how it looks when I take it down. I guess I forget what it looks like without a tree and get use to it, that when I take it down, it looks so bare.

However, with Christmas coming down, Mardi Gras went up. At first when Trevor asked if I was going to put Mardi Gras up I said no. It's normal in Louisiana....and I think it's safe to say that it won't be as normal in Oklahoma. Oh well...I guess we can be different. We're just bringing a little bit of Louisiana to Oklahoma.

I found 2 lanterns at an estate sale a while back and have been obsessed ever since. I fill them with stuff for every holiday! LOVE them!! And I got another one for Christmas!! Score!!

Last night I made chicken & dumplings! Mmm Mmmm good!

I got the recipe from the infamous Pinterest. I am always scared to try a recipe for the first time but this one turned out scrumptious!
